Monday: 5/11
AO: Patmos
PAX: 2/3 of the Killer Bs
Warmup:
I was late with a Griffith train so Optimus warmed up without me.
THANG
We played around with the variations of amount of cards and doing your own hand or everybody doing all the cards left but this was the general format…
Each PAX gets dealt 10 Cards face down don’t look yet
2 Discard piles face up
15 Second Timer
Play Speed Uno on either draw pile get rid of as many cards fast as you can everyone playing on either discard pile.
After times up, whatever’s left in your hand are the exercises you have to do, the card number is the amount of reps
- Green Cards (1 Pushup + 1 Merkin)
- Red Cards (x10 Jump Ropes)
- Blue Cards (1 Hill Sprint to cone)
- Yellow Cards (x1 8ct Step Up)
- ——————————————-
- WILD = 10 Reps you choose the color aka exercise type
- Skip Cards = Draw a card, do those instead
- Draw 2 Card = Doubles your reps of that color. 2 reps if it’s your only one of that color
- Reverse = 10 Burpees ( You can do or give to someone else. But if they reverse your reverse you now have all 20)
MOLESKIN
Great to have a friend like Optimus be warm and ready to experiment a new idea with me. We had a good time, chatted at coffee about attendance struggles, the leadership call, tee-ball and youth sports, extravagant hotels, and prediction markets. Had to be there man.
Will definitely run this back with more people, thank you again Optimus for helping me sort out kinks! Total I believe we did 4 rounds? each one was prolly 5-6 minutes of exercises and we jogged around the park in between each. The last qualifier we changed was instead of doin what was left in your hand we both did all the cards left in both our hands total which I think works better in small groups so maybe with a small amount of people or cards left we kick that rule in.
If you haven’t yet, please vote on the Oak Ridge Prairie Picnic day so we can get that planned! Take care all, thank you for letting me lead today…
