10 good looking PAX posted for miles today. We all deserve (need) a compliment once in a while. We are all good guys, trying our best. 5 runners and 5 Ruckers pushed our chests out and strutted this morning.

BACKBLAST: Frosty Partners @ The Hub – 1/21/25
I was unbelievably impressed that 8 PAX decided to show up in -18 degree weather to get better together!
WARM-UP:
(All IC) – Windmill x 10, SSH x 20, Bean Pickers x 10, Michael Phelps x 10, Toy Soldiers x 10, Hillbillys x 10, Squats x 10, Merkins x 10, Parking Lot lap to Portico
THE THANG:
Partner Up and Head to one of the 6 stations. The original plan was for both partners to just complete as many of the lower body exercises OYO as possible and then to do a lazy dora on the upper body exercises completing 10 reps IC for each in an alternating fashion. However, all 8 PAX were studs, so we pretty much just did as many reps as we could at all the stations until the station 6 partnership returned.
Stations were:
- Daft Punk Lunge
- Shoulder Taps
- Sandbag (60 lb) Rows
- Squats
- Dips
- Run to first parking lot and complete 10 post rows with each arm (20 total)-served as the timer!
We made it through 4 full rotations of the stations above (24 stations total)-well done!
MARY: Circle up, hold plank, and complete 2 rotations of Ring of Fire Merkins (10 merkins each, shout it out at 5 for the next PAX to start).
MOLESKIN:
It was cold. REAL COLD! But I don’t believe we really felt it by the third or fourth station. It wasn’t the hardest workout I’ve ever done by far, but it was a consistent grind. I tried to make sure we focused on compound, full-body movements (2 for chest, 2 for back, 2 for legs) to keep us warm and toasty. You could pace yourself how you wanted, but I felt like all 8 PAX went above and beyond today. Super impressed!
I almost gave this Q up last week when I saw how cold it was forecasted to be. I’m not proud of that, but want to be transparent and honest. I didn’t want to be out there in this weather! Then, I thought of what F3 is and how F3 should make you want to be a better man. Sometimes the things we don’t want to do are the exact things we need to do! I needed this challenge, and I was humbled so many brothers showed up. I was probably over zealous in having 6 stations (planning for 12 PAX), and that did mess up some of the rotations a bit, but the PAX just kept things moving. Still, 8 PAX was a great turn out at the Hub for today (with 11 total PAX for the day!).
Don’t take the easy way out. Always push yourself. Always support each other.
Thanks for always being there, bros. It was an honor to lead today.

Well we braved -10/15 something windchill and it honestly wasn’t that bad. Looking forward to tomorrows Q getting out there again and hopefully we get as great of a turnout!
Awesome seeing 9 guys out there choosing the right pill today 🙂
Shout out to Mr. Incredible and Fat Tire I haven’t seen them in a while! Way to get out on a day like this. Coffee was great, Incredible and I actually hung out there til ~9. I will say this was not a creative Q in the slightest but it suited the needs of the day and those bear crawls at the beginning were no joke. After doing impossible half mile this weekend and nearly that the day before my shoulders were shot as were Optimus and OCBs I’m sure! 65 Meters uphill 3 times!
Keep on getting up and getting out there men! Have a great Monday

Surprised to see this Q still open earlier in the week since they get snatched up pretty quickly most months. Also, surprised to see so many still open. If you haven’t Q’d in a while, please grab one. 1 a month is a great goal!
I thought this Q would be fun, but adding the sandbags and the compound exercises made it tough to really get enough reps in. I originally planned for 2 minutes, but I think that would have been good for only a few of the exercises like the pull ups. I wanted to do repeatos for both rounds, but I knew we wouldn’t have enough time. However, I did have to come up with the last couple of exercises on the fly which is not my forte. At least we were out of the wind for most of the workout so I will count this as a win.
9/10 pax made it to coffeeteria. Mickey Tints couldn’t make it, but he has a lot going on and family comes first. Some great book discussions at coffee and Fat Tire did make it back with his 2.0s to get some fellowship in.
If you have Monday off, try to post at Patmos or Col. Wheeler. Tuesday and Wednesday will be cold, but support the Q and show up. Layer up. They will keep you moving so you can stay warm. Can’t promise that, but that is my guess.
Thanks for letting me lead and for following along in my stupidity.
SYITG,
HHH
BACKBLAST 1/17/25 Pluto Is Not A Planet Miles
8 PAX posted this clear morning for miles in Crown Point. Many stars and planets were seen in the sky. Since 2006, Pluto is no longer a planet.
4 runners and 4 Ruckers enjoyed the brisk weather.
Al Gore Skarsky at Steamwhistle.
