Leadership moment- reference to 1 Peter 4,
Above all, let your love for one another be intense, that is intentional even when inconvenient. As each one has received a gift, use it to serve one another as good stewards of God’s grace. Whoever preaches, let it be with the words of God (not man), and whoever serves, let it be with the strength that God supplies. So, we’re told to love & lead, and do so that in all that you do God may be glorified.
🦅 BACKBLAST: OG’s Manniversary Crucible
📋 THE O-P-S (Operational Summary)
🪵 Warm-O-Rama
🏔️ THANG 1: Paying the Gravity Tax
The Pax marched to the 10-yard hill to face a 3-Round, 9-Trip escalation of sheer willpower. No running allowed, but the shoulders were instantly screaming for mercy. Early finishers held a Low Plank or an agonizing Al Gore at the top until the Q called “DOWN!” for a synchronized, brother-to-brother recovery walk.
Round 1: The Bear Crawl Phase 🐻
Round 2: The Lunge Walk Phase 🦵
Round 3: The Bernie Sanders Phase 🏃♂️💨
🧰 THANG 2: The 12-Gauge Crucible
🌊 6MOM (Six Minutes of Mary)
Time was running thin, but OG ensured the core was thoroughly pulverized before the final bell.
🛡️ COT & WORDS OF WISDOM
1 Peter 5:8 (NASB)
“Be of sober spirit, be on the alert. Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.”
OG’s Manniversary Message:
One year ago—technically the 31st—I stepped out of the shadows and back into the gloom after taking a short break from a lot of things in life, including F3. I was coming out of a dark place, but 365 days ago, God put on my heart that I needed to make a choice to ‘show up.’ What I found wasn’t a casual workout routine; it was a line of High Impact Men who refused to let me stay in the dark. At first, it was mostly about me, but now #IAMTHIRD.
I don’t know if anyone could tell during the prayer, but I was very close to crying right there in the COT. You men locked your shields around me and are sharpening me into exactly who God designed me to be. These beatdowns aren’t just changing my physical appearance and abilities… they are changing my heart , mind and soul. The moments of pushing past what I feel I can do has been the ULTIMATE prescription against my anxiety and depression.
1 Peter 5:8 warns us to stay alert and stay sober-minded because our adversary, the devil, is prowling around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour. He doesn’t attack a locked shield wall easily; he looks for the man who wanders away from the pack. He wants to isolate you, get you alone with your thoughts, and let those demons of complacency, addiction, anger, and unworthiness destroy you from the inside out.
We do not step out into the gloom just to move concrete and steel; we do it to wage war against the shadows, against the evil one. But over this past year, I learned that when we stand together, the darkness loses.
In this circle, we cast out every shadow of doubt and every demon trying to hold us back from our families, our callings, and our potential. We lock our shields to protect and lift up the brother next to us. Do not fight your battles in isolation. Lean on this brotherhood, endure the crucible, and let yourself be sharpened into the leader, husband, father, brother, son, etc … you were designed to be. Thank you for the last 365 days, men. Hold the line.
12 PAX (7 Ruckers / 5 Runners) got it done in the gloom and got a little healthier.
