After running 2 games of 3v2 we had 20 minutes left so we ran some 3v2to2v1s

If you’ve ever played highschool basketball you may be familiar.

Player A, B, &C Are offense, Players D&E are Defense.

Say Player A takes the shot on goal, he no runs back on Defense on the other end and is in a 2 on 1 against players D+E. Players B+C hang back to be the next defense. After the 2v1, those 3 players on on the same team against the 2 that hung back. Run this fast break drill for about 15 minutes.

TEAM LOSERS: Federali, Beaker, Optimus, Batman, Dr. Scholl’s

(2-0 Losers for the last couple minutes)

I think this was Scholl’s first time playing hockey? Hope you had fun. Big pool if ice in front of 1 of the goals so a couple fast breaks were comically cut short. I threw out my back now, Federali cries about his footsie wootsie, the usual bloodbath matchup with an absolutely frozen ball ready to crack concrete. Great way to start the morning love monthly hockey!
