MOLESKIN:

What a great weekend! Thank you on behalf on F3 NWIND to everyone who helped pack eggs on Thursday, showed up early, brought items to share, cleaned up! A lot of work went into this from a lot of different people so shout out to all you rockstars that pitched in! Thankful the weather could’ve been a lot worse, the rains held off and the field wasn’t too wet! Just a cool overcast day 🙂

As Q, I borrowed much of the structure from HHH last year, he setup an awesome event and helped a lot with setup this year so thank you!

We began with some stretching and warmups in the middle as everyone started to arrive. I was told i got more of a vocal workout in than muscular which feels true haha! We had kids from 2-3 Year old’s up to High Schoolers and I heard nothing but encouragement and positivity from all the little ones, you’re all raising a bunch of studs! One thing I learned for next time was for steal the bacon we should number starting tallest to shortest so the matchups were 4 year old vs adult half the time. We made due and live and learn for another year! I was told I have to keep all the eggs until next year and then choose the next Easter Q, so keep an eye out I just might pick you to be the next victim!

The egg hunt was very full! One of the kids came to me and said “You forgot to hide em I can see em all” which was hilarious! Looks like every kid got a heaping pike of sugar and coins to take home. Fellowship was hide by many PAX afterward and breakfast was shared by 5 of the last PAX there after cleanup and a 6th that happened to already be there with his M.

Big time congrats to Beaker for his recent Engagement to Mia! And to Optimus for his 7-Year Manniversary today!

Keep in mind this weekend that egg hunts, candy, and all that easter is are fun things. But the real reason we celebrate is what happened about 2,000 years ago in an empty tomb. Amen, thank you for the cross, and thank you that Sundays coming! Jesus saves, He loves, He Is Risen. Go fellowship with him tomorrow along with your families and give thanks!

Til Next Time!

BACKBLAST – 3/1/25 – Ultimately windy @The Hub

24 PAX made it out on an exceptionally windy Saturday morning. As usual, there was a variety of activities around with some rucking, others beatdowning and others ultimate-ing. Today’s ultimate started w/ some frisbee despite the high winds but we ultimately (ha, see what I did there??) switched to some ultimate football. Good times were had by all, per usual. We had 2FNGs. 1 was Bard’s 2.0 but didn’t get a name since they had to split early. The second was Snuggle’s younger brother who I can’t remember but will update.

BACKBLAST: Play Ball! @The Hub – 9/16/23

PAX: Scarecrow, Bozo,Lights Out!, Trader Joe, The Mick, Mufasa, Editor, Bert, Bard, Class Act, Dr. Freud (Q)

WARM UP: SSH x20, Bean Pickers x 10, Perfect Squats x 10, Perfect Merkins x 10, Imperial Storm Troopers x 10, Arm Circles x10 (forward and back), Perfect Squats x 10, Perfect Merkins x 10, Light Pole Lap

THE THANG: Number off 1-2, 1-2, etc. and 1s line up and 2s line up. Indian Run to the MOE7s Hill.

Pain in 6s: 6 Superman Merkins against the curb, bear crawl up the hill (30 feet) and then lunge walk to cone (30 feet) (60 feet total), run to pull-up bars and complete 6 pullups, run out of the woods and back to starting point (REPEATO x 3)

F3 Baseball: We played a modified game of wiffle ball. Each PAX drew a card with an exercise to complete for a set of 5 (5 Merkins, 5 SSH, 5 Scorpion Dry Docks, 5 jump squats, or 5 Body Builders). Like regular baseball with a diamond with regular baseball rules, but the catch was that after each hit, the whole team had to perform the 5 rep exercise before the batter could run to first. The catch for the fielding team was that before you field the ball, the whole team had to perform the 5 rep exercise of the PAX closest to the ball (that was fielding the ball) before it could be fielded. We played 3 innings to a 0-0 draw.

Carter’s in Charge!: Class Act came in clutch, as I had to leave at 7:45. Here’s how they finished: JAck Webb at the top of the hill, ran down and did 6 pull-ups, ran back to the top of the hill, hold Al Gore (Repeato x 2). MOE7s sprints x 2, circle back up Lunges x 10IC, Merkins x 10IC, WWII x20IC, Leg lifts x 10IC

MARY: Cobra Pose (Yoga) x 60 seconds

MOLESKIN: Great to have Mufasa back!!!!! Baseball was a bit goofy and think 5 reps was too much to give an advantage to the batting team, so would probably change to 3 reps. I think I pitched a 1-hitter, so I was pleased (lol). Team 2 did get more hits and runners on base, so I would say they won! Thanks for going with the flow.

Always a pleasure to be out here with you men. Your support and motivation mean the world. Until next time!

Moleskin
This was a gridning WOD. Not the most fun WOD I’ve Q’d, but I was sweating and tired and my watch said I was busting my ass. I think the other PAX were pushing it. It was great to be teamed up with Freud, Matador, and Stylebender. Y’all killed it. Great to see Bard and Rusty at a beatdown. Props to Villa for coming out after popping his calf on Saturday. And I know Lights Out wasn’t feeling 100% either. Great to see OCB down south again! Well done, boys.

MOLESKIN:

T-Claps to all the pre-ruckers and pre-runners, my apologies to those that I missed. T-Claps to Editor for completing a Go-Ruck tough event and then showing up to finish up today’s WO.

Zombie and I hit every AO this week and we had a blast.

The goal was to get our HR up, bring it back down and then bring it back up…over and over again. We had pax between the ages of 16 and 63 and I thank you all for showing up and getting it done.

Men, it’s always an honor to be the Q. It’s hard to believe that next year on 4/16 will be my 5 year Manniversary! I am 100% better for it! I’ve had the privilege to visit several AO’s throughout the Country and in each instance, I always left in awe at how easily it was to connect with other Pax that were willing to get up in the gloom and “Get After It”. My desire is to give it away as often as I can … the larger the Pax, the better as I truly believe it makes a world of a difference in our day to day outlook.

SYITG,

Peyton
