Warmup:

Indian run from shelter 1 to the ultimate field

The Game:

5 v 5 kickball

Each 5 teammates bats once per inning, the runs are determined by how many bases a runner can get after the hit before the ball gets to the pitcher. No “3 outs” and no standing on bases. Fielders have to do AMRAP PT to get to the ball, the batting team does PT while on deck. Batters get 3 fouls before they’re OUT. Once everyone’s gone once, switch sides and that’s one full inning…

1st inning: Everyone in the field HAS to Bear Crawl to the ball. On Deck is No Surrenders

2nd inning: Everyone in the field HAS to Bear Crawl to the ball. On Deck is WWIs

3rd inning: Everyone in the field HAS to Broad jump to the ball. On deck is WW1s

4th inning: Everyone in the field HAS to Crab walk to the ball. On deck is Squats

5th inning: Everyone in the field HAS to lunge walk to the ball. In deck is SSHs

Final score: 28-23 Winning Team: Coors, Goon, Matador, OCB, Crash

Cooldown:

Indian run back to flag, then 16 American Hammers IC to end it.

MOLESKIN:

I have mixed feelings on how this went. On the one hand just about everyone I heard from said they enjoyed it and had a good time. On the other, there’s a few things we’d change up for next time. I added the 3 fouls is an out late in the game as we had *cough* Coors *cough* taking half our game time kicking balls into the oncoming traffic of Route 41. As Kato said it can only get better and I think I’ll bring this one back once over the summer with some rule changes to get us moving and sweating more.

It was a good showing today, considering there’s frisbee down south. Twas, a very chaotic, work out, and the cadence and rhythm of the work out went nowhere near what I was anticipating. However, everybody was sweating and smiling at the end, so I’ll call it’s a win. We think God for the year gone by and coming to a close and had some fun clapping during the COT video. Good work gentlemen, don’t forget the Christmas party tonight and Troy hockey on Thursday.

The Thang: (Partnered)

STATION #1

-PAX 1 AMRAP Jump-Ropes (DORA x1000)

-PAX 2 Bikes down and back

STATION #2

-PAX 1 Bear Crawls far as they can,

-PAX 2 does 3 merkins then runs to catch up to PAX 1 and they switch. Go til you’re at the end of the field. Same thing back but PAX 1 lunge walk while PAX2 does 5 squats. (2 Sets)

STATION #3

-PAX 1 Crab-walks up & down the hill

-PAX 2 AMRAP American Hammers (DORA x500 2-ct)

-All PAX Broad jump the whole field, dropping at each baby tree to do a Merkin

-Suicide run the baby trees back to start, with partner. PAX 1 runs down and back trees 1,3,5,7. PAX 2 runs down and back trees 2,4,6. While one PAX is running, the other is doing AMRAP merkins.

MOLESKIN:

This was a great tiring finish to the week! Each set of partners rotated and did each station once. Everyone put in a ton of effort and showed out! Coors and I partnered and set the pace for the Bear Crawls early since I wasn’t sure how that would go. OCB and Destro were chatty today and looked to be getting through easily for such a tough hour. Kato and Crash were slowly tearing through everything. Kato modified the crab walk with army crawls and Crash modified showing up on time with dumping.

Prayers for Destros father, Crusier, all health and travels this holiday season, and the kids of today who are making unwise decisions. This was a great week and I’m ready and excited for this coming one!! Thank for for allowing me to lead. God Bless!
