I wanted to incorporate the barricade since it will be there another couple of months. Figured it is closer than the picnic tables and something new to use. Will probably keep adding 2 counts to the body builders until we get to at least a 24-count.
Got a couple of calls coming up, so I will keep this short and sweet. First, we didn’t really run a train on each other, although, if I had to, I would gladly do it with all of you.
I think this group means a lot to all of us. If it doesn’t yet, I’d encourage you to lean in a little more and find your tribe within it. We have so many HIMs here, and every one of us needs other men in our corner.
I’ve been thinking about our creed: “Leave no man behind, but leave no man where you found him.” I wonder if it should really be, “Leave no man where you find him.” Every day is another opportunity to help a brother take one step forward.
Be there when your brothers post. Show up when we circle up. Reach out during ot after coffeeteria. Every day brings new challenges. Some days are filled with victories. Some days are just plain hard. We rarely know what someone is carrying behind the scenes.
What I love most about this group is that we celebrate each other’s wins just as passionately as we rally around each other during the darkest days. That’s what brotherhood looks like.
If you don’t have a guy in this group you can be completely vulnerable with—someone you can call when life punches you in the mouth—then you haven’t experienced the full potential of what this group can be.
I’d be honored to be that guy for any of you. And I know I’m not the only one. There are a lot of men here who would answer that call without hesitation.
I just happen to come with soft, silky skin… and a pretty great set of ears.
I don’t say this often enough, but I love you guys.
SYITG,
HHH
