Drivers: Coors (Sterling Marlin), Kato* (Ricky Bobby), Nabisco (Jeremy Mayfield), Pacrat (Dick Trickle), Muck (Cole Trickle) (QIC)
*Pax of the Day (POTD)
With Talladega and the NASCAR championship going this weekend, I figured lets bring the 100 series to Troy. We brought this WOD to The Hub and Patmos earlier this year and it was pretty fun. Especially the icy conditions at The Hub in February. Here’s what we did:
7 to 1 Motivator
Windmill x 15IC
Bean Pickers x 15IC
Arm Circles Fwd x 15IC
Arm Circles Rev x 15IC
Broken Windshield Wipers x 15IC
Perfect Perfect Squat x 15IC
Since we had 5 Pax it wasn’t sounding right to form teams so we decided to make one team.
10 Burpees at the Start,
Indian Run the Parking Lot (going left of course),
10 Burpees, Indian Run the Parking Lot,
Pit Stop at far end for Mtn. Climbers x 20 OYO and arrive at the Start.
There were 5 sets of this total which amounted to 100 Burpees, 100 Mtn. Climbers, and approx. 2 miles of Indian Running.
If a Pax touched a team member at any point during the race, there would be 10 WWI’s OYO. We did approx. 40 WWI’s due to Ricky Bobby trading paint with everyone.
Pax Sprint to the finish line.
We finished 2 minutes before time so we did 10 Burpees and 20 – 4 Ct. Mtn. Climbers OYO.
POTD went to Kato. He earned the Bosch Battery. He displayed a lot of heart and gas.
The AAR feedback was good. Pacrat said it was one of his top 3 workouts, I’d have to agree. We had some trouble keeping the pace up with the 10 Burpees. Some good suggestions came from the discussion. One suggestion that stood out was that everyone resumes the Indian Run after the first Pax gets to 13. We may try that the next time.
Coors, Nabisco, Pacrat, you boys made it look easy. We’ll have to turn up the heat for the next one.
