Blessed to be another year older. What better way to celebrate than to Q and participate in the weight loss challenge! Always nice to be able to make it out to Patmos; it has been a while. Now that kids do not have school, I should be able to travel more to other AOs.
New evidence has suggested that the St. John Stabber might actually be a woman. We had a suspicious hippie woman in a buick enclave go to the water’s edge that hung out for about 20 minutes on a blanket. No one saw the evidence prior to the warm up, but saw it after COT.
This WOD was harder than anticipated. Wanted to get in 45 burpees and that didn’t help with all of the merkins we did throughout each round.
Gotta start work, so I am keeping it short. Hoping to see all of you more often. Let’s make sure to EH and hit up kotters. Numbers are depressingly low for this time of year.

Looks like we had a few folks recovering from the Murph. We had 3 PAX at 0530, but the rest funneled in shortly after. I believe we got through shuffle curls in round 5 when 0615 hit. I also thought merkins and squats would suck since most of us did 200 and 300 of those; respectively. Don’t get me wrong; they still did, but not until the last couple of reps for each.

BACKBLAST: Saturday, 5/26/25 The Murph @ The Hub
21 PAX came out for a Memorial Day convergence. We had some folks participate in some pre-activities. Having an hour to do the Murph gave us enough time to do some Mary as an added bonus.
The Mick shared some great WOW during announcements and followed that up with an even better COT.
With 20 rounds, each PAX got to call out the cadence and made it easy to keep track of rounds. I said we also had perfect attendance at coffee, but I lied. I forgot 4Howa prerucked, but had to leave. We did, however, use every table at Dunkin! Also, not to brag, but I was able to tag all 21 of us without having to look back at the video.
