This workout was a cross between a beatdown and a book club. I have been listening to Inner Excellence by: Jim Murphy. I was able to share some of the highlights from the chapter where the author states that we have three adversaries that we need to be aware of. They are The Critic, The Monkey Mind, & The Trixter. The critic is constantly judging and comparing our experiences. The Monkey Mind over analyzes and is constantly creating unnecessary anxiety. The Trixter knows all of our failures and uses these to deceive us. The voice tries to convince us that we aren’t good enough or don’t deserve the finer things in life. Pacrat shared a quote by Theodore Roosevelt that the author expands on in the book and Gummy Bear also shared some insights as well. If you can please try to incorporate words of wisdom or Q source into the workouts. I think it’s important to not only work out the body but your mind as well!
-Thanks for listening & letting me lead!!
