THE THANG:
4 Corners with a Twist! We used the 4 light poles as 4 stations, as each PAX was given a number (Campbells and PacRat got two numbers, as I had 10 numbers). The number you received was the rotation number where you were “it” and could tag other PAX. If tagged, you had to complete 3 burpees, but you could only be tagged running between stations, not while you were completing an exercise.
We started with 20 reps, and decreased by 4 reps for each rotation (thus 5 rotations with 20, 16, 12, 8, 4 reps at each station). The first 4 stations were:
-Merkins
-One-Arm(reps per arm)
-Carolina Dry Docks
-Squats
-The next 4 stations were:
LBCs
Curls
Downward Dog Calf extensions/stretches
Military Presses
MARY: No time!
MOLESKIN: Great job by all! I typically don’t incorporate a lot of running, so I tried to change that up! My HR was UP! Our son, Zeke, has thought since we began playing “Hide and Seek” that it was called “Hide and Zeke!” My M and I don’t have the heart to tell him yet (he’s only 4), so that’s where the inspiration came from. I thought it was a fun twist on the traditional 4 corners. Playing tag definitely made me run faster than I would have otherwise. I believe all PAX were tagged at least once (O.G. and PacRat, maybe Mufasa and Campbells only got tagged once). My chubby butt got tagged five times! Really appreciate Heise coming out and doing a stellar job (sorry about all the running!) All the PAX wer FAST!! Appreciate all you, men!
