Pax: Kato, Nabisco, Muck
I was amped to return to Centennial since last year. I remember it to be a great location for rucking as it’s far more attractive then Wicker. Besides the methane gas. Its a dump but it’s our dump.
I got there around 5:20 and was the first one there. Kato rolled up with the same clothes he had on from that morning. Freakin Bum. Nabisco was a bit behind, I guess he forgot his Nabisco Sack.
It seemed like all three of us had some good balls and some bad balls. Nabisco and I both agreed that golf on the course if much better and 9 holes is where it’s at. Kato talks smack I know, but on the golf range? You got problems bru.
It was a bit rainy to start but calmed down pretty quick. The conversation ranged from what to expect during a Tough, Nabisco’s intense daily driving schedule, and ended with Kato saying “I gotta take a shower and cook potstickers.” COT then we split.
For next time we may want to play with the schedule. It took some time to get my tokens, change shoes, and so forth so we should probably aim for a 5 o’clock start. That way we will actually start at 5:20. We didn’t end up starting our ruck until 6:20 or so. It was good either way.
I ended up heading back to the office after we left early. Kato stopped by and brought me a bunch of pork potstickers. Unreal. So good. Everyone needs to stop by their booth at Perogi Fest and get some.
We ended up with 3.31 sticky miles at an 19.35 pace.
